Choose the support before the finish
A floor-to-ceiling framed panel, a screen between two posts and a free-standing divider need different edge retention. Start with the clear opening and mark every edge that will actually hold the sheet. A small sample can feel rigid while a tall, partly supported panel flexes when somebody leans on it.

Test privacy at the distance that matters
“Frosted” does not say whether a person’s outline will remain visible from a corridor. Hold a representative sample where the panel will go and check it from both sides, with the real background and lighting. Frosted PC softens views; a textured sheet changes the pattern and reflections. For a see-through divider, start with clear PC. Record the approved sample, finish side and colour on the panel schedule so the production batch can be checked against it.
If staff or visitors will wipe the panel often, specify the cleaner and method before choosing a finish. A hard-coated PC option may suit frequent contact; request the offered grade’s cleaning guidance and test a sample with the planned cleaner, gasket and sealant.
Show the installer a typical fixing zone
Provide a frame section or one corner detail with the proposed PC sheet, gasket, bead or clamp, edge engagement, hole positions and allowance for movement. Mark any unsupported edge. SinoPlastix can fabricate the approved sheet geometry; the project designer checks panel deflection, support, fire requirements and stability of the installed partition.
For handling and logistics, sheet weight can be estimated from the chosen grade’s density and dimensions. As a transparent example, a 1.2 × 2.4 m panel at 6 mm thickness and representative PC density of 1.20 g/cm³ weighs about 20.7 kg as sheet only. That is a lifting and frame-input figure, not a recommendation to use 6 mm for every opening. The quote should confirm the grade, actual size and final fabrication.
Approve the sample, then release the cut list
Approve one representative panel or fixing zone for appearance, edge quality, hole fit and cleaning compatibility. The factory can inspect the cut size, hole positions, surface and packing against the released drawing. On site, the installer checks frame alignment, fastener pressure, movement clearance and the final partition assembly.
Send the panel schedule, drawings (PDF plus DXF/DWG/STEP if machining is needed), quantity, finish and colour target, mounting detail, contact and cleaning conditions, any required fire classification and destination. The written quotation confirms the custom specification, price and production window. Published lead-time and price figures are planning averages; the actual terms depend on order complexity.

Can a frosted PC panel provide complete privacy?
It can soften or obscure a view, but silhouette visibility changes with lighting, background and viewing distance. Approve a representative sample in the intended space before ordering the partition run.
Can you cut holes and shaped edges for our partition frame?

Does a sheet fire report approve the completed partition?
