All custom PC dimensions can be reviewed. Sheet grade, available master width, cut pattern, thickness, quantity, process and packing affect cost and production time; the written quotation confirms actual terms. Published site MOQ and lead-time figures are average planning references, not a promise for every cut list.
See the material cost before deciding where to cut
A local cutting estimate can overlook offcuts, operator time, scrap handling and extra handling of finished panels. Factory cutting can reduce those steps, but it does not make waste disappear. Ask us to show the quoted sheet consumption and usable offcut assumption for your whole parts list. Then compare that, processing, packing and freight with your local option.
Example cut-list format, not a stock SKU: clear solid PC, 6 mm nominal; 480 × 320 mm: 180 panels; 600 × 320 mm: 80 panels; one viewed face with film retained. Quote the nested sheet consumption, edge option, dimensional checks, part labels and delivered packing. Supplying both sizes together lets the nest be reviewed as one order.
Approve the first panel and the packed batch
- Check the sample: measure the finished width/length and squareness against the agreed method; inspect burrs, visible edges, surface marks and film condition.
- Check the batch plan: confirm part IDs, quantity by size, protective interleaving and how panels will be stacked for transport.
- Lock repeat orders: keep the approved drawing revision, sheet grade, edge finish and any inspection record as the reference for the next cut list.
For holes, slots, pockets or close-fit features, use polycarbonate CNC machining. For bending or a multi-step part, use the broader PC fabrication route. A rectangular blank and a machined component should not be priced or accepted as the same service.
Questions buyers ask
What is the minimum for cut-to-size PC orders?
Published sheet-order quantities are planning references. Send grade, thickness, full cut list, quantity and destination; the written offer confirms the applicable minimum, price and production time for that order.
What size tolerance can you hold?
We quote tolerance after reviewing PC grade, thickness, panel size, cut route and measuring conditions. Mark critical fit dimensions and provide the mating frame or assembly requirements when relevant.
Will factory nesting eliminate offcuts?
No cut plan is automatically waste-free. Send every required size and quantity together; ask for the quoted material consumption and usable-offcut assumption before comparing factory cutting with local cutting.
