Electrical target

The supplied ESD product reference lists a 10⁶–10⁹ Ω surface-resistance target for a dissipative route. Specify the exact property, test method and acceptance range in your RFQ.

Sheet format

The source lists 2–12 mm as a standard thickness range. A surface-coated route is listed at ≤1,500 mm width; other construction and dimensions are reviewed as custom orders.

Supply route

Surface treatment can suit clear equipment windows. Modified-material extrusion is another route when through-system electrical behaviour is required. Confirm colour, thickness, cleaning and durability for the exact grade.

These are one product-family reference, not a universal value or stock list. “Surface resistance” in Ω and “surface resistivity” in Ω/sq are different specifications; record the requested property, electrode geometry, conditioning and test method. The written offer and matching report control the grade, value and order terms.

Choose the construction by how the panel is used

Transparent equipment window

State transmission or haze target, viewed area, cleaner and how often the face is touched. Ask how a surface-treated grade is checked after cleaning.

Cleanroom or assembly partition

State the ESD control program, humidity, contamination/outgassing requirement and grounding design. Request evidence for the offered sheet rather than assuming a general cleanroom certification.

Machined guard or enclosure

Send impact case, finished drawing, holes, edges, cleaning and electrical test points. Electrical sheet data do not approve a complete machine guard.

How to approve an ESD sample

Set the metric: surface resistance or surface resistivity, target band and the method/instrument required by your ESD program.
Set the condition: humidity, temperature, specimen preparation, cleaning and measurement locations on both faces if relevant.
Set the panel: offered grade, thickness, colour, visible-area quality and any CNC or forming work.
Check repeatability: approve a grade-matched report original and physical sample; identify the batch/document scope for repeat orders.

Surface-treated and modified-material options can behave differently after handling or cleaning. A blanket claim that every ESD property is permanent would mislead buyers. Ask which construction is offered and request data after the exposure your panel will see.

Questions buyers ask

What electrical range should I specify?

The supplied ESD line includes a 10⁶–10⁹ Ω surface-resistance target. Your ESD control program should define the property, measurement method, conditions and acceptance range for your use. Do not substitute an Ω/sq surface-resistivity number without checking the test basis.

Does the ESD property wear off?

It depends on construction. A surface treatment and a modified-material grade can respond differently to cleaning, abrasion and humidity. Ask for the offered construction and test evidence after the exposure expected in service.

Can you machine an ESD PC panel?

Yes. Send the drawing, grade, thickness, tolerances and electrical test points. Cutting or forming may change what must be checked on the finished part, so final acceptance belongs in the quotation and inspection plan.
