Polycarbonate LED Diffuser Sheet

Turn visible LED points into a smooth lit surface with PC diffuser sheet selected for your fixture geometry.

PC LED diffuser sheet for a smooth lit surface. If the luminaire shows individual LED dots or bright stripes, the cover needs the right balance of light transmission and scattering. The correct sheet depends on LED pitch, cavity depth, drive setting and the viewing angle as well as the PC grade.

Send a photo of the lit fixture, the LED-to-cover gap, opening size and target brightness. We can quote an opal diffuser sample or a finished cut cover and test the shortlist against your actual light engine.

One opal diffuser configuration to start a quote

1

Thickness

A supplied opal diffuser-panel configuration lists 2.0–8.0 mm. Other custom dimensions can be reviewed against grade, formulation and order quantity.

2

Panel format

That configuration lists up to 1,300 mm width and 6,000 mm length. Send the usable opening size and cut-part drawing for a production quote.

3

Optical acceptance

Specify measured transmission and haze targets only if the project needs them. Approve hotspot hiding, brightness and colour over your real LED array.

The dimensional figures describe one opal diffuser product route, not every diffuser grade or a stock promise. The quoted formulation, sample, report original, price and lead time depend on the custom order.

Start with the light you want to see

There is a trade-off: stronger hotspot hiding can reduce light output. A deeper cavity lets the light mix before it reaches the cover, while a shallow fixture asks more of the sheet. We can compare candidate grades against your brightness and appearance priorities rather than give every customer the same “high diffusion” sheet.

Widely spaced LEDs

Effect: bright points are harder to hide.

Send: LED pitch and a photo of the lit array.

Shallow cover gap

Effect: light has less distance to mix.

Send: LED-to-cover gap and your acceptable hotspot appearance.

Output is the priority

Effect: excess scattering can make the fixture look dimmer.

Send: brightness target or your current reference sheet.

Choose a sample by what the lit assembly must achieve

A white sheet photo cannot show whether LEDs will disappear in your fixture. Compare candidate diffuser grades using the same LED array, drive current, cavity depth and viewing angle; changing the lamp as well as the sheet makes the result hard to interpret.

Individual LED dots

Check pitch, cover distance and the front viewing angle. Test a more scattering candidate, then compare usable light output.

Bright stripes or dark edges

Check the LED layout, cavity, reflector and edges. Test the whole lit cover; a sheet change alone may not remove an assembly shadow.

Even light, low output

Compare a brighter sheet against the same hotspot acceptance limit and power budget.

Colour varies by batch

Agree a physical reference, LED colour temperature, sheet thickness and measurement method for the quoted grade.

Approve it in the lit fixture

First compare a sample over the real LED array at operating brightness. Photograph the lit assembly from normal viewing positions with the camera exposure fixed; compare points, stripes, colour shift and dark edges against the same reference. Approve the chosen grade, colour and thickness alongside the fixture drawing. For a replacement, send the current sheet or an illuminated reference so the comparison starts from a real target.

Where this sheet fits

Typical enquiries include linear luminaires, LED panels, illuminated signs and lightbox covers. For general privacy rather than LED hotspot control, choose frosted PC. For an opal colour without a defined uniformity target, compare coloured PC. The lighting and signage guide covers the whole assembly.

The gallery lower on this page shows five distinct views of unlit white PC sheet samples. None is a measurement of optical diffusion or a photo of the sheet operating in a finished LED fixture.

What SinoPlastix can review with your sample

Our Jiangsu production team can quote custom PC sheet dimensions and CNC-finished covers from a drawing. The white product sample above represents the current PC diffuser range produced by SinoPlastix. We can propose a production-representative sample, then agree the colour, thickness, finish, inspection reference and expected production window in writing for your order. Seven extrusion lines and 22 CNC machines are company capacity, not a promise that one untested sheet will meet every light engine.

If a buyer needs test documentation, ask sales for an applicable original by named method, grade and thickness. Common report originals are supplied privately; the illuminated fixture still needs its own project acceptance check.

What to send for a useful quote

  • LED pitch, LED-to-cover distance and a photo of the lit fixture
  • Cover dimensions, preferred thickness, quantity and delivery destination
  • Brightness, hotspot and colour priorities; reference sample if available
  • Operating environment and any required standard or report
  • Cutting or forming drawing if finished covers are needed

Custom PC sheet specifications and fabrication can be quoted. Production time varies with formulation, sheet format and processing, so any average lead-time shown elsewhere is a planning guide; your written offer will confirm the order window.

Questions buyers ask

What do you need to recommend a diffuser?

Send the LED pitch, distance from LED to cover, sheet opening size, target colour and brightness priority. A photo of the current lit fixture or an approved sample is helpful.

Can I choose a diffuser by thickness alone?

No. The LED spacing, cavity depth and optical formulation all affect how visible the LED points are. Test a proposed sheet in the actual fixture before approving production.

Can you match my current diffuser?

Send a physical sample and, if possible, a photo of the lit assembly. We can quote a PC option and help compare hotspot visibility, colour and output under the same fixture conditions.

Can I obtain a test report?

Common report originals are available from sales on request. Name the standard, grade and thickness required so the relevant document can be matched to the quotation.
