Custom Polycarbonate Sheet Specifications

Custom PC sheet, colour, function and fabricated parts — from your brief to a written, testable order specification.

Custom PC sheet orders start with the part you need to receive. Tell us where the panel will be used, what it must look like, the dimensions, any required test or certification and your order quantity. SinoPlastix can supply custom polycarbonate specifications across sheet format, colour, surface, function and fabricated parts. Sales and engineering turn that brief into an offered grade, an approved sample and a written specification you can purchase against.

What you can specify

Requirement Send us We confirm in the offer
Sheet construction Solid, multiwall or profiled PC; indoor/outdoor use and visible face. Proposed grade, structure/profile, thickness and applicable material evidence.
Size and fit Width, length, finished part drawing, quantity and the dimensions that must be controlled. Available manufacturing route, cutting plan, tolerance and measurement conditions.
Appearance Colour reference or sample, transparency, texture, gloss, diffuser or privacy target. Sample approval method, colour/appearance range and which face or UV side is installed outward.
Functional grade UV, flame-retardant, ESD, anti-fog, hard coat or another target; standard, grade and test condition if specified by your project. Offered product route, relevant grade/thickness test report original and any separate assembly-level evidence needed.
Processing and delivery DXF/DWG/STEP or marked drawing, holes, bends, edges, packing, destination and order cadence. Fabrication method, first sample or first-article acceptance, packaging and written price/lead time.

Custom specifications can be supplied, but a colour match does not establish fire, ESD or optical performance. Terms, test scope, tolerances, MOQ, price and production time belong to the offered grade and written quotation. Complexity affects lead time; figures shown elsewhere on the site are planning averages.

From your brief to a repeatable order

  1. Requirement review: we sort mandatory requirements from preferences and identify conflicts early, such as high clarity plus strong diffusion or coating plus frequent abrasive cleaning.
  2. Route and sample: we propose a sheet/grade and fabrication route, then agree which physical sample, drawing revision and tests will be used for approval.
  3. Written specification: the quotation records grade, dimensions, tolerance, appearance/treated face, test/report scope, packaging, quantity, price and delivery basis.
  4. Production and acceptance: compare the supplied lot or finished part with the approved sample and drawing. Ask for the applicable original report and agreed inspection record for your order.

Our Jiangsu production site operates seven extrusion lines and 22 CNC machines. The equipment supports a range of sheet and fabricated-PC requests; the actual process for your part is chosen after reviewing its material, geometry and tolerance.

A useful RFQ example

Example format, not a stock SKU or guaranteed tolerance: “Clear solid PC guard, 6 mm nominal, 420 × 360 mm finished size, four mounting holes per drawing Rev B, 300 pieces. Operator views through one face; cleaning with the attached agent. Please quote edge finish, dimensional inspection points, packing and lead time. Confirm the offered impact grade and applicable report.”

A filled brief like this lets us quote a real part. If your project instead needs flame-retardant PC, ESD PC or LED diffuser PC, use those product pages to define the performance target, then send the combined specification here. For pricing variables see wholesale pricing; for machining scope see PC fabrication.

Questions buyers ask

Can you match an existing sheet or competitor specification?

Send the datasheet, drawing and physical sample if available. We compare the target grade, test methods, dimensions and appearance, then quote the closest approved route. A visual match alone does not prove equivalent performance.

Do custom dimensions or features change MOQ and lead time?

They can. Grade, tooling, colour set-up, tolerance, fabrication and quantity affect the applicable minimum, price and production schedule. Published figures are planning references; the written quotation controls the order.

What quality documents can I request?

Ask sales for the applicable original test report for the offered PC grade and thickness, plus the inspection items agreed for your drawing or sample. Reports are shared privately on request and are not published on the website.
