Polycarbonate LED Diffuser Sheet
Turn visible LED points into a smooth lit surface with PC diffuser sheet selected for your fixture geometry.
PC diffuser and illuminated sign panels selected in the actual LED layout: pitch, cavity depth, brightness, colour and fit.
Choosing a PC face for an LED light or illuminated sign? Test the sheet in the actual fixture. SinoPlastix can supply custom polycarbonate diffuser or coloured panels and cut-to-drawing parts, but hotspot hiding, brightness and colour all change with LED spacing, cavity depth, surface and viewing angle.

Send a photo of the current powered unit, not only a white swatch. Mark the LED pitch (centre-to-centre spacing), the distance from LED to cover, visible aperture, target brightness and the viewing position. A sheet that hides points in a deep lightbox may show them in a shallow linear luminaire. To compare samples fairly, use the same LED drive, cavity and viewing setup.

| PC application | Trial question | What to send |
|---|---|---|
| Linear luminaire or LED panel cover | Can the face hide individual LEDs while retaining useful output and fit? | LED pitch, LED-to-cover gap, aperture, operating temperature, clip or screw detail |
| Illuminated sign or fascia | Is the face even when lit and the right colour when unlit? | Box depth, LED map, artwork or colour target, panel size, exposed face and weather conditions |
| Impact-exposed public-space sign | Does the proposed panel and fixing survive the expected contact? | Likely impact, supported span, frame/fasteners, access for cleaning and replacement |
Start with a PC LED diffuser when the main problem is visible LED points. One opal diffuser configuration described in the SinoPlastix product range uses 2.0–8.0 mm sheet and panels up to 1,300 × 6,000 mm; it is one quoted product route, not the dimensions of every PC diffuser. For a colour-led sign face, sample coloured or opal PC against the specified colour and backlight. For a clear protective cover, review clear PC and the actual impact/cleaning brief.
Compare two or more candidates in the same fixture. Record an on-axis and side-view photograph at the same camera exposure, note where hotspots appear, and check the face again with the LEDs off. If the sheet needs frequent wiping, include the cleaner and review a hard-coated PC sample. Request the offered grade’s transmission, haze, fire or UV evidence when those are acceptance criteria; one optical number cannot prove the final visual result.
Show the finished outline, thickness target, mounting tabs, holes, bend or forming detail, exposed UV face, protective-film removal direction and tolerance callouts. A lightbox face may need room for thermal movement and a way to drain or ventilate the box; a luminaire cover also needs to fit clips without stressing the sheet. The fixture designer owns the complete electrical, thermal, fire and installation approval.
Send the LED layout, powered-fixture photo, target lit and unlit appearance, drawing, quantity, destination and required test/report scope. The SinoPlastix quotation can confirm the PC grade and colour, sample plan, fabrication, packing, price and production window. Published price and lead-time figures are planning averages; the actual order complexity and written quote control the terms.
LED pitch, distance to the cover, sheet grade and viewing angle work together. Send the LED map and cavity section; compare diffuser samples in the powered fixture before changing the production sheet.
No. A frosted finish may soften a view, but a lighting diffuser must be judged for hotspot hiding and output in the actual LED geometry. Use a lit-fixture trial to approve the offered grade.
Yes. Send the finished profile, thickness, holes, clips, bend or forming detail, colour, quantity and acceptance tolerances. The written quotation confirms the proposed grade, process and production window.
