There is no single honest per-sheet price for every PC order. Solid, multiwall, flame-retardant, coated and machined parts use different material and conversion routes. Give us one clear specification and we can price the order you intend to place.

What changes your price?

1. Sheet specificationGrade, thickness, construction, size, colour and any UV, fire, ESD, optical or coating requirement determine the material and process.

2. Finished-part workCutting, drilling, bending, coating and inspection change the conversion cost. A drawing makes the quote more useful than a rough sheet-area estimate.

3. Order size and repeat planTrial lots, production lots and repeat call-offs can have different set-up, packing and scheduling economics. Ask for two quantities on the same specification to see the real difference.

4. Delivery basisCompare the same Incoterm and destination. Sheet price, packing and freight are separate cost decisions; a lower unit price does not always mean a lower landed cost.

Ask for the unit price and the total delivered cost on the same basis. For sheet orders, compare price per sheet and per covered square metre; for machined parts, compare price per approved drawing and part quantity. Include any tooling or set-up charge, packing, freight term and quote validity.

For example, a 1220 × 2440 mm sheet covers 2.9768 m² before cutting or overlaps. A price per sheet and a price per square metre are comparable only after you use the same sheet size, thickness, grade and delivery scope. On roofing profiles, compare effective cover width rather than gross sheet width.

Example: ask for 100 m² and 300 m² of the same 3 mm clear solid PC sheet, 1220 × 2440 mm, delivered to the same destination on the same Incoterm. If both quantities are feasible for your specification, compare unit sheet price, packing and total cost on the quoted Incoterm; compare landed cost when freight is included. These are example RFQ quantities, not published price tiers. You can use the same method for your own grade and drawing.

Turn a sheet-area target into a comparable quote

For a full 1220 × 2440 mm sheet, gross area is 2.9768 m². If the order is in whole sheets, an illustrative 100 m² target needs 34 sheets (101.2112 m² gross), while 300 m² needs 101 sheets (300.6568 m² gross). Those counts do not include trim waste, roof overlaps or loading limits; request the sellable quantity and usable coverage in the written offer.

Send one RFQ with two quantities and ask us to return Option A for your exact specification. If you allow changes, ask for Option B at a target delivered cost and name what cannot change. You can compare both options without losing the performance requirement that drove the order.

Can you work to my target price?

Share the target delivered price and the requirements that cannot change. If you can consider an alternative grade, dimensions, finish, processing or packing, say so; the quotation can show the options and trade-offs.

Can I request test reports before ordering?
