Polycarbonate and Acrylic Sheet Materials

Choose PC or acrylic by panel duty, then quote each grade, drawing and evidence scope as a separate line item.

Choosing a sheet for a new project, or buying PC and acrylic in one order? Start with what each panel must do. SinoPlastix can review the material route, finished size and fabrication scope, then quote each line item against its own grade and evidence requirements. Send the use, drawing and quantity; you do not need to guess a resin code before asking.

Clear and coloured solid polycarbonate sheet samples
PC sheet colour and clarity samples. Confirm the offered grade, thickness and surface against the order.
Coloured acrylic sheet samples
Acrylic colour samples. Request a physical shade and finish sample for visual approval.

Choose the material family by the job

A material name is a starting point. The offered grade, sheet construction, surface and test scope determine what can actually be supplied and approved for a project.

Impact exposure, formed or machined covers, outdoor roof panels, or a named fire/ESD function Polycarbonate (PC) grades and constructions Panel duty, grade and thickness, support or frame, exposure and grade-matched reports. A machine guard or roof still needs assembly review.
Display appearance, specified colour, polished visual edge or a PMMA drawing Acrylic (PMMA) sheet family Colour/finish sample, visible edge, scratch and cleaning conditions, fabrication drawing and required evidence.
Not sure which family will pass the brief Send both requirements, not an assumed substitute Mark any impact, optical, fire, chemical or installation criterion as mandatory. Request samples and compare offered grades under the actual use.

Within PC, the polycarbonate hub handles solid, multiwall, corrugated and functional sheet options. If the project starts from an installed use rather than a material name, the applications directory covers roof, greenhouse, glazing, machine guarding and energy-storage design inputs. The product page identifies a sheet grade; the application owner approves the complete installation.

Line Part brief Buyer decision and evidence
A — PC cover 1,200 × 800 × 3 mm clear panel, four fixing positions, viewed area and specified impact duty Send the frame/part drawing and the actual impact requirement. The grade, tested specimen and guard or glazing assembly must be reviewed separately.
B — acrylic display panel 600 × 400 × 4 mm coloured panel, visible edges and shade sample Send the colour master and edge/appearance acceptance. Do not transfer Line A’s impact requirement or report to this item.

Quote PC and acrylic as separate lines even when they ship together. Confirm quantity, sheet yield, sample, inspection, packing and any minimum order for each material. Do not assume a combined quantity automatically qualifies for a published MOQ. A drawing revision and part IDs prevent the wrong finish or material from being packed into a mixed order.

From material choice to approved supply

  1. Describe the panel. Give intended use, material preference or open choice, finished dimensions, thickness target, colour/surface, quantity and destination. Attach a dimensioned PDF, DXF, DWG or STEP for cut parts.
  2. Name the acceptance test. If optical, impact, UV, fire, electrical or chemical performance matters, state the method and required result. Sales can provide applicable common original reports privately; match them to the quoted grade, thickness and test conditions.
  3. Approve what will arrive. Agree a sample where appearance or fit matters. The written quotation identifies the offered specification, machining, inspection, packing, price and production window. Published MOQ and lead-time figures are planning references; complexity and the order determine actual terms.

SinoPlastix operates seven extrusion lines, has 20,000 tonnes of annual capacity and 22 CNC machines. These are company capacity facts, not a stock or test-class guarantee. For dimensioned panels see PC cut-to-size service; for purchasing variables see MOQ, lead time and shipping.
